On Saturday, March 5, 2022 the American Cancer Society will hold the 36th annual

Life Savers Ball at the Spitzer Conference Center at Lorain County Community College.

The revenue generated by this fundraiser subsidizes the preventive and educational programs available to cancer patients and their families in Lorain County and the Northeast Ohio area.

COVID-19 Information

The health and safety of our immune compromised supporters, volunteers, staff and community at-large are of the utmost importance. Therefore, we will be requiring all individuals attending the Life Savers Ball to be fully vaccinated with either one dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine or two-doses of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Certainly, we are erring on the side of caution and proceeding deliberately and carefully. However, as a public health organization that serves the immune-compromised, our responsibility to protect the health, safety, and well-being of those that trust us is greater.

We regularly assess potential for in-person events and strictly adhere to all federal and local health department guidance including event size and masking.
